Embrace Stillness

𑁍𑁍𑁍 In Kemetic Yoga, we’re always more on the slow and intentional side, focusing on mindful movement and breath. Yin Yoga shares this slowness but takes it a step further by emphasizing longer holds in each posture. This practice is designed to help you pause, soften, and connect with yourself on a deeper level. Holding poses for several minutes targets the connective tissues - fascia, joints, and ligaments - allowing for a release that goes beyond the muscles. At the same time, it creates space for emotional integration, helping you acknowledge and honor feelings that may have been tucked away.

This is a gentle reminder to really take the time and embrace stillness, let go, and tune into your inner landscape, noticing what’s happening inside. Make space for ALL of you. 𑁍𑁍𑁍
