𓂀 The Pose of Immortality is one of my favorite Kemetic Yoga poses. I remember the first time I practiced it, I felt a stream of energy flowing through me, connecting above and below. Of course, everyone’s experience may be different.

In ancient Kemet, Heh was seen as the personification of time, eternity, infinity, and long life. On temple walls, in texts, and in artifacts, Heh is often depicted sitting in the Pose of Immortality. This pose might look simple, but like most Kemetic Yoga poses, it takes practice to align correctly. When done well, it has an energizing and rejuvenating effect, similar to backbends. Before practicing the Pose of Immortality - or any other Kemetic Yoga pose - it’s a good idea to warm up.𓂀
