But Maat is more – she represents a way of life grounded in duty, order, dispassion, and an awareness of the cosmos. There is a deep philosophy behind Maat. As you practice The Maat Pose, focus on becoming like Maat - truthful, righteous, and aligned with order within yourself.

𓂀 The purpose of yoga posture (Asana) is to prepare the mind for meditation. This has been mainly forgotten or ignored in westernized yoga.
