But constant stimulation - like scrolling, notifications, and endless content, news everywhere - keeps your cortisol levels elevated, leading to increased anxiety & restlessness, difficulty focusing & brain fog, poor sleep quality & fatigue, higher blood pressure & inflammation, and more.
What we can do is learn to use social media with awareness and intention. Instead of mindlessly scrolling and letting it drain us, we can pause, check in, and choose how we engage. Is this feeding my mind? Lifting my spirit? Aligning with how I want to feel? 𖥸𖥸
